Poster Printing FAQ

How much does a large poster print and lamination cost?

  • Printing: $5.50 per sq.ft.

  • Lamination: $2.00 per sq.ft.

  • Setup & Trim: $10.00 per piece

Please note, while we take the utmost care during lamination, we cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event that any damage to the print happens during the process. For best results, we recommend that the document is flat and the print is dry before lamination.

If I need my poster done by a certain date, when should I bring it in?

Please try to bring in your poster at least 1 week in advance because it will need time to be printed, dried, trimmed, and/or laminated. The latest you can bring in your poster is 1-2 business days in advance if printing only, or 3-4 business days in advance if printing + laminating.

What is the maximum size for posters?

The maximum size is 38 inches wide by any length.

What file format should I use? What size should I make my file at?

Most clients use Microsoft PowerPoint for large format presentation posters. We can print from ppt, pdf, or high-res jpeg files. Create your project at the same size (resolution and print size) as your finished size. This reduces complications because the file does not have to be enlarged when it is printed. The optimum resolutions for our wide-format printer are 200 or 300 ppi.
